SERCOVA Project Donates Safety Equipment and Fire Hoses to Seram Bagian Timur Fire Dept to Support Forest Fire Prevention and Response
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, PT Strata Pacific handed over a grant of safety infrastructure to the Seram Bagian Timur (SBT) Regency Fire Department (Damkar) in Bula.
The handover was carried out directly by PT Strata Pacific's Community Development Coordinator, Zaki Nurma Frizal Hidayat, and warmly received by the Head of the SBT Fire Department, Mr. Hadi Rumbalifar.
The assistance we provided included 5 rolls of fire hose and 5 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (firefighting suits) in brand-new condition.
This step originated from the communication and synergy established since receiving a request letter from the SBT Fire Department on September 11, 2026. For us at PT Strata Pacific, responding to this need is not merely about fulfilling a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, but rather a strategic investment in environmental sustainability and the safety of human lives.
We deeply understand that firefighters face difficult terrain, especially when dealing with potential Forest and Land Fires (Karhutla) as well as residential fires in hard-to-reach areas. The availability of adequate fire hoses will be highly crucial in extending the fleet's reach for the rapid handling of hotspots.
Meanwhile, the availability of standardized PPE is an absolute form of protection, ensuring that personnel can safely and securely carry out their duties in preventing the spread of fires and conducting evacuations.
The Head of the SBT Fire Department, Mr. Hadi Rumbalifar, also expressed his appreciation for this collaboration. He emphasized that this assistance serves as a strong boost to overcome operational limitations in the field, while also acting as an important foundation for both parties to collaborate in facing the upcoming dry season.
